I am (hopefully!) buying a new car this evening! Well, the CAR is not new, but it will be new for me! I'm spending pretty much every last dime I have on it, so I'm going to be broke for a while! So, if you would be so kind, please check out my Etsy store! Well, I sat down and had a new journal entry all typed up last night, but accidentally closed out the tab before I submitted it. >_<

Anyway, I am still here! Thank you to everyone who has stuck around despite my lack of posting. Also, thank you for all the new Watches and Likes! I really appreciate them!

In the past year that I have been inactive here, I have left university, worked at Walmart for 8 months, made a prom dress, costumed a play, moved to another state, and just recently landed a job at JCPenney (tomorrow is my first day!). I have also worked here and there on some of my own costumes; I'm really trying to stay dedicated to my costumes and actually finish some of them! Right now, I'm working on Princess Serenity (and I'm LOVING how it's turning out).

In other news, I am currently trying to save up for a car, so I will be knitting various items for sale. If you are interested in a SS/CoS-style Hufflepuff scarf or a Twilight Princess-inspired Link hat, I will have those things posted on my Etsy soon. I also have a S12 Doctor Who scarf in the works.

I also recently got an Instagram and started a Facebook page for my crafty things; if you would like to see progress pictures and other behind-the-scenes pics, I post tons on both of those accounts.

This weekend marks the beginning of my spring break during which I will be accomplishing awesome of all sorts.

I have a few new knitted hats (including Link hats in a new style and color :3) to photograph and post, and I intend to get lots of costumey goodness done over break, so I hope to have something to show for that after a few days.

Also, welcome all new watchers! I'm hoping to do a giveaway soon (maybe a Link hat?), perhaps at 10,000 page-views? Or 100 watchers? Or...BOTH? We'll see.

Well, 2012 was a pretty good year! I made it through my first semester of college, the apocalypse wasn't as bad as we all thought, and I got a 3DS XL for Christmas. Naturally, I have spent the last few days since Christmas curled up on the couch playing Ocarina of Time for the billionth time (but now it 3D!).

I am rather disappointed in myself, though. I had so much ambition to create and do things that I just never got around to. It really doesn't surprise me, because I know how lazy I am. However, I do feel that being away at college caused some of that lack of accomplishment; I didn't have any of my costuming materials at school and I was too drained to be productive when I went home for breaks.

However, since being home for Christmas, I have been more productive than usual, despite my relapse caused by my new 3DS. I have been challenging myself to work on costumes that will use a bunch of my stashed fabrics instead of continually going out and buying more fabric to shove in my closet. So far, I have almost finished Snow Whites maid dress (odd choice, but I had materials for it!) and will soon begin on SW's princess dress and Shoomlah's historical Rapunzel. I may even get to start on her historical Cinderella as well.

How much I will complete before returning to school, I do not know, but hopefully it will be something worthy of posting here!
