Uber-Twirly Uber-Awesome Skirt

(Ignore the streaks on the mirror ^.^) Da na na naaaa!!! Rose's skirt is finally finished!! After months and months, this thing is done. lol It is made of a cotton/polyester material I found at Walmart on the clearance rack. It is the PERFECT material- it drastically changes color depending on what light it's under just like Briar Rose's!! XD It's nice because it's accurate, but it's also a bit of a bother. To get the look of the pleats in her skirt, I sewed godets into what would have been the side seams and positioned them in the front and back. I had a lot of trouble trying to turn up the hem where the biased part of the fabric is, so I used an overlocked rolled hem on the serger to finish the hemline. All in all, I'm quite happy with it!!
